Join fellow members at Elm Fork for a great day of clay shooting. Depending on numbers we will shoot 5-stand or sporting clays. There is no need to register for this event. Join DWWC members for a fun morning of shooting followed by lunch. We will be shooting sporting clays at Northlake Shooting Sports in Northlake, TX at 9:00 AM. Come early to be ready at 9:00. We will grab lunch after the shoot.

It is time for another Wild Game Cooking Class. It will again be at the Sur La Table Preston/Royal location. Receive instruction from a professional chef as you prepare a tasty meal. Meats to be cooked are currently being discussed. This will be a great time to learn how to cook amazing meal using different ingredients. This has quickly become a favorite social among members. Comments from last year included, "This is one of the best dishes I have ever eaten!" and "I can't believe we are using this French technique on a local fish. This is amazing!" Upon completion of the cooking we will dine on what is sure to be a meal to be remembered. After eating you are sure to want to go on a hunting/fishing trip soon. The class will begin at 7PM and run for about 2 hours. Water, coffee, and tea will be provided, but you may bring additional beverages. Significant others or a guest are welcome. All attendees will also receive a special discount for shopping in the store that night. Don't miss this great night out with members.

Dallas Woods and Waters is hosting its 5th annual Tom Stone Memorial Dove Hunt opening weekend. This is the club’s premier event and often described as the best value in Texas dove hunting. The cost of this hunt is $490 per person and includes 2 nights lodging, 2 days of hunting, and 5 meals. Hunting is the mornings of 9/6 and 9/7. Please note that hunting on Sunday afternoon will likely be limited. Lodging is provided from Saturday night until Monday AM with meals served at the lodge. We will be hunting with our West Texas preferred outfitter Ranger Creek Goose. Lodging will again be with Big Country Baptist Assembly. A hospitality suite is provided along with several activities at the camp. All rooms are double occupancy with a private bathroom. This is a great hunt for hunters of all ages and experience levels. It is family friendly. Limits are possible on this hunt, but what makes this a great trip is the time spent with fellow members. Due to demand this trip is limited to members and their immediate family members only. No guests of members will be permitted. All hunters must have a valid Texas Hunting License, Hunter Safety (if required), and all necessary endorsements. It is expected that attendees will follow all state and federal regulations.
