WOODS & WATERS LUNCH BUNCH

Join other members and friends of the Club for lunch at 11:30 the 2nd Thursday of the Month at Fish & Tails Oyster Bar. Guests are Welcome. It is conveniently located on the Northbound I75 service road just north of Spring Valley Road.

Lunch will be from 11:30 to about 1:00. The restaurant is counter service where you will order and pay for your own meal & drinks so if you come at a earlier or later time - no problem.

Catch up with your friends, share a meal, and/or plan your next hunting or fishing trip. If you are new to the Club or want to learn more about it's activities, stop by. A big value of the Club is it's member's knowledge of qualified and trustworthy hunting and fishing outfitters. They are willing to share that knowledge. Just ask.

No reservation is required. Just stop in.

Pheasant Tower Shoot

The Club will have 10 of 20 sports for this shoot. Join other members for this unique shooting experience.

 Procedures and Rules:

• Shooting grounds consist of 20 shooting positions that range from 75 to 150 yards from the tower
• Each station is occupied by one or two shooters. (20 minimum – 40 maximum)
• Nine pheasants per shooter are released during the shoot; pheasants will be released two at a time
• Shooting positions are situated to allow only overhead shooting at pheasants that have a flying start of at least 75 yards
• Most shots are from 20 to 60 yards long
• Recommended Gun: 12 gauge, full choke
• Recommended Shell: 2 3/4″ 3 1/4 dram. 1 1/4 oz. #5s; no 3″ or 3 1/2″ magnums allowed and no shot larger than #5 allowed
• Shooters rotate after each shooting period. During the shoot each shooter rotates completely around the tower
• Halfway through the shoot we take a break for refreshments
• When the shooting is completed, all shooters return to the lodge for a barbecue lunch of beef, ribs, and sausage
• All birds are cleaned and divided equally
• Price is $625.00 per gun
• Shoot starts at 9:00 AM; arrive no later than 8:30 AM
